Mitchell Pink is winner of key industry award showcasing the talent of the future
Mitchell Pink, Scheduling Analyst at Novacroft, has seen his talents rewarded in 2016, and starts 2017 on a high, with the Professional Planning Forum’s Rising Star Award.
Mitchell was formally recognised at a black-tie ceremony on 29th September 2016, with colleagues joining him to celebrate, following which he was part of the National Planning Conference 2016 on 29th November, where he had a forty minute speaking slot sharing his inspiration with fellow professionals.
On awarding the Rising Star accolade, the Professional Planning Forum commented:
Mitchell has made a huge difference in a small amount of time. He has been able to demonstrate the value of planning and importance of understanding employee engagement.
A team member since 2014, Mitchell works to schedule, manage and analyse shift patterns within Novacroft’s growing contact centre, and was was also crowned Novacroft’s 2015 Superhero at the company’s annual team recognition event, where a whole host of leading lights of the past year were recognised.
Novacroft is thrilled that Mitchell has received industry-wide recognition and is delighted to be supporting his professional growth. Investment in team talent is key to the company’s ongoing development vision.
As 2016 ends and a new year begins, Mitchell reflects:
It’s really been a whirlwind year. At school, I wasn’t the academic type, and I left early. But now, with the support of Novacroft and the Professional Planning Forum, I’m studying my BSc in Customer Contact Planning & Management. I’ve been so inspired by my course and all the support around me. I’ve received commendations for my work. This year has been a lot about challenging myself, academically and also with things like talking in front of people, which I was so nervous about six months ago. I’ve grown a lot, and I’ve actually enjoyed the presentations and speeches I’ve done for the Rising Star Award – I never thought I’d say that! I’m seizing the chance to develop my career and I feel incredibly motivated.
