Team votes to support local charity tackling homelessness
Novacroft team members have nominated and voted, electing Northampton Hope Centre as their Charity of the Year 2017.
Northampton Hope Centre is a vibrant local charity with deep roots in the community of Northampton. It works to relieve poverty and tackle the causes of homelessness in Northampton by giving people a ‘hand up not a hand out’ and by recognising that if you continually provide hand-outs there is no incentive to become self sufficient. The work of the locally well-known organisation is focused on helping others to help themselves, providing support and services that will enable individuals to take back control of their own lives.
Novacroft team members met with the centre recently to discuss working together in 2017 to fundraise and to provide voluntary support, and we’re excited about the possibilities working with this very active local charity offers.
